How we handle personal data when you visit this website or send us an enquiry.
Controller
The controller for the processing of personal data within the meaning of the GDPR is the owner named in the imprint. You can reach us using the contact details given there.
Principle
This website is a static site with no user accounts, no advertising networks and no analytics or tracking services. We set no cookies that would require consent, and no profiling takes place.
Server logs and hosting
When you open the site, your browser transmits technically necessary data to the hosting provider: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, and browser and operating system identifiers. This data serves secure operation, is not combined with other sources and is deleted after a short period. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The hosting provider is to be named here before launch, together with a data processing agreement.
Contact and quote forms
If you write to us through the contact or quote form, we process the details you enter — name, email address, phone number, the details of the property and your message — in order to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). The forms are not yet connected to a service; as soon as they are, the provider will be named here.
Enquiries by email
Email currently reaches us through a Google (Gmail) mailbox. We are moving to a mailbox on our own domain before launch. Please do not send us special categories of personal data — health data, for example — by email.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address in order to send you information about services and offers. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time. The sending service has not yet been chosen and is to be added here before the form goes live.
Retention
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with the matter, and beyond that for as long as statutory retention periods require — generally seven years for business records.
Recipients and processors
We pass personal data on only where it is necessary to deliver the service or where the law requires it — to our bookkeeping or tax adviser, for example. Processors are bound by contract under Art. 28 GDPR.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. An informal message to the contact details in the imprint is enough.
Right to complain
If you believe the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you may complain to a supervisory authority — in Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our services, our providers or the law change. The version published here is the one that applies.
